About Jenna
I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a BFA in Theatre with emphasis in scenic design. In my time at UMD, I designed scenery, coordinated props, painted, and mentored other designers.
Since graduating, I moved back to the Twin Cities area. I regularly work as an overhire carpenter at Old Log Theatre.
I also work year-round at Valleyfair Amusement Park in Shakopee, MN as their Entertainment Operations Supervisor of Scenic and Events. In this position, I design various scenic elements for our entertainment shows and events, in addition to helping facilitate park events like Performance in the Park. In my previous position of Area Supervisor, I was designing for our shows, as well as supervising the scene shop, and leading a crew of carpenters and technicians in building, painting, and maintaining scenic elements throughout the season.
